"Although my music is fresh and new, it comes from a very traditional place. I'm a Jazz Musician in the tradition of Miles Davis and John Coltrane. My approach to the Guitar comes out of the tradition set by Pat Martino, Jim Hall and Wes Montgomery thru players like Bereli Legrene, Pat Metheny and Al DiMieola. My vocals are in the tradition of Jimi Hendrix, Willie Nelson, JJ Cale, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, Sting, Lucinda Williams and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
